this weekend i discovered that almost everyone of my 'old school' friends is either into cooking, music, or computers or some combination of those three.

i also discovered that bridal showers are in fact really really weird - gifts of lingerie and serving platters, big icy pink cakes, and the superstition of breaking gift ribbons?
