my trip to Tejas was very memorable. we nearly went tubing but then the water level turned out to be too high and then for some reason (though we were in the middle of a series of campgrounds) we couldn't find a single place along a 30 mile stretch of road to park and drink our cooler full of beer. everyone wanted to charge us $5 per person to drink on their patch of gravel.

there were other good times like the malestrom we saw the alamo in, the pot hole that incapacitated us on our last night waiting for someone to come fix the tire.

sure there were many buzz kills but that only made us work even harder to keep the buzz alive. and we worked very hard at that.
