probably the highlight of my weekend was when brendan bought a suit and had it tailored and ready in an hour and a half! thank you marshall fields! he looked so sharp in his new suit. this after several days of whining about going to buy a suit. (i have since learned that most men are big babies about the suit shopping topic.) of course he loved his new suit and was happy to be wearing it at the wedding which was just as posh as expected.

yesterday post-wedding activities included something i've been waiting to do for literally months. we went to the park. it was a gorgeous day. brendan's chaulk white skin needed a little color which of course became pink.

later in the evening, after getting a very unexpected bill, we took some time to talk about money and how to manage it the right way. it could be a little longer than expected before we buy furniture. at least we have a bed.

it felt good to talk about money. its such a loaded topic between couples but i feel like we're sharing the same vision.
