yea my boss is a bitch. watch me now give the least amount of effort required to *not* get fired. last time i took this approach i got a raise and a promotion. wonder what it does take to get fired around here - i'm all about the unemployment check.
when i first started working here (back when i used to actually *care*) there was a guy 'working' in the very same seat/desk now. he was quite a character. he used to clip his nails at his desk and bounce a ball made of rubber bands against the neighboring wall. he used to put in 80 hour work weeks too and i was told yesterday that in the last 2.5 years he worked here he did about 6 months worth of work (if even that.) he used to come in on the weekends �supposedly� but his office pass never had weekend access so that�s a big mystery. He called in sick for three weeks (and got paid sick time!!!) before they even got a little suspicious. Then he came in one day with a bloody nose and picked up his last check which included paid vacation time, sick time, and overtime. They also gave him a reference.

He�s my hero.

I like to think he�s vacationing right now in Mexico on his 401K clipping his nails on the beach and sending the hotel bill to his former employer.
