yesterday was my first day working at my awesome new job. i'd say about 50% of it was totally over my head given their sink or swim crash course. but i have no doubt i'll get the hang of it all. i just hate the feeling of not knowing what you're doing or who to talk to and as much as i have have questions you can just sense you can't ask more that a few good ones before you start to interfere with people's work. i'm sure in a couple weeks this will change but for now i'm still the newbie.

its nice working in a cool new office though and the team of other PMs are pretty great, knowledgeable, professional, but very easy-going too.

there are so many projects and so much work that they all really make effective use of every minute and do a lot of multi-tasking. the company's growing like crazy and the positions are in a constant state of flux. even thier most recent 2-week old organizational chart is completely obsolete. the company was recently bought out by a much bigger parent company so it makes a lot of sense.

i've noticed that my classes feel like a waste of time lately and i'd really like to be done with them already. 4 more months!
