let's face it people. anyone who hasn't stepped out of their urban liberal bubbles hasn't seen america for what it really is. the majority of americans (as we've just seen in the millions who managed to find their head from their ass long enough to cast a vote for Baby Bush yesterday) are uneducated hicks.

let's look more carefully at why Bill Clinton won two terms. an educated man? yes indeed (and well spoken) but did he flaunt that to his hick constituents - hell no. intelligent people intimidate hicks - he was just a lil ol boy from Arkansas (!) you can't get more hick than that. to the educated liberal community he was a sharp shooter and brilliant economist - did he flaunt that? hell yes. we don't like idiots and you've got to earn our respect by showin' us yer smarts. he did. that's why he was so popular.

now an interesting race would have been if Kerry was also a hick. a Hick-Off if you will. Kerry shouldn't have wasted his time with the daily show, snowboarding and all those other stunts he was scrambling to do to get the "young" vote. he should have been riding monster trucks, cattle ranching, doing keg stands, and showing ass crack to really compete on the same level as Bush.

and by the way, what fucking "young vote" strategy was that? the young adults in this country are completely unconscious. they�ve never known what it means to be empowered or responsible. we're stuck with astronomical student loans, living at our parents houses, playing XBOX and getting drunk. that's the population Kerry was asking to get their shit together, register to vote, and get off their lazy ass? sorry folks, the baby-boomers screwed it up for all of us. no one cares about the young adults in this country (i.e. jobs, economy, and education) not even the young voters!!! - its all about prescription drugs for the ailing baby-boomers.

but back to hicks... how did such a progressive, free-thinking (note: thinking as in using one's brain to ponder logical decisions with respect to reason) country turn out to be such a sad bunch of hicks with no character or substance?

For one, our education system is actually now destructive. It�s actually not hard to graduate from a high school in this country and be only functionally illiterate. Our news and media is written and delivered to the public at large at a 5th graders vocabulary. Why? Because nobody likes watching PBS or BBC - they just don't understand all them fancy words... HICKS!

I'm sorry if you voted for Bush yesterday or 4 years ago or for his father. I'm impressed you've managed to read this far but I'm sure little of this made any sense to your lobotomized mental state.

This country is not Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada... it is unfortunately overpopulated with hicks. Don't believe me? Just get on a Greyhound bus and go to places like Cantoosa County, Georgia or Barton County, Missouri or shit anywhere in the Florida panhandle or fucking anywhere in Texas (oh except for those border counties - they hate Bush there - wonder why?!).

We all have to face the fact that the hick population in this country is only growing more and more abundant. This is precisely why we're in the mess we're in with Iraq. I don't know that there is a way to curb this population growth. Maybe there's a cure for hick in stem-cell research. Maybe we all need to get jobs in munitions factories or beef jerky production. Maybe we should all pack up and move to another country - maybe its time for another civil war. Maybe we should just learn to love our hick neighbors.

Whatever you decide to do - know this - if you are educated, globally conscious, politically minded, and sensitive to the innocent, weak, and people in need - you are a minority and will only become a smaller minority with every passing day. You are living in a country of racist, ignorant hicks and there's not much you can do about it.
