wow there's a lot of shit to deal with when you come back from vacation. why are our lives so damned busy?

the vacation was good. highlights for me... seeing the sea turtle when we were snorkeling was by far the best part for me. i've seen turtles plenty and even saw plenty sea turtles at the aquarium but this was in the ocean and not far from shore at all. it was beautiful. really. like a good omen or something. my other highlight by far was standing in the moonlight and hearing my man say he would love to travel the world with me. it was immediately preceeded by this ridiculously expensive (but delicious) dinner complete with live steel pan music (well one guy, a steel pan, and a casio.)

i can't fake that i actually like being back (especially not while i'm at work.) but we did bring some rum back and i intend to drink it!
