ahhh... the world of window treatments. i had no idea! its like clothing for your windows - mine of course have just been naked and now they're happily covered. who knew what a significant difference a few pieces of hanging fabric make to a room?! who knew they can be so damn expensive?! well, the apartment is coming along -

we've been catching up on bills and debts and simply haven't had the money to buy the furniture that we so desperately need but i'm happy we did make significant purchases this weekend - an office desk for brendan, some clothing for our windows, and some damn well amazing artwork for our walls. our dear friend matt left this weekend to embark on a new life out west. it was a very sad departure but i wish him the best. i scored some of his amazing artwork on the cheap before he took off. that makes the second of our friends named matt who has moved from Chicago this summer!
