last night we saw three new places. it felt good to look at options. i'm still amazed what a con this whole apartment thing was. the first place was fabulous - a lot better than we thought it was going to be based on the fact that it was a first floor unit. the last place was just plain amazing. It even had a little yard with a swinging bench.

i'm ready to move in there NOW. but I guess we're supposed to look at some more places and make a decision in a few days. in all three places we asked about the neighbors, the environment, and the water pressure (which we tested ourselves.)

tonight - sailing! i am looking forward to being distracted from the nonsense that is my home environment. everyday i look out the giant windows at work and imagine i'm on the lake on a boat. i'm on the 34th floor so the view is amazing - not from my cubicle but from the hallway near the bathrooms. its a spectacular view and lake michigan on a sunny day looks like a beautiful ocean. the weather's not that beautiful today - cloudy and cold but sunny days are right around the corner. Tonight's class will most likely be in-doors with lots of instruction.
